To revise the procedure by which political parties officially notify the Secretary of State and county clerks regarding the selection of their presidential and vice-presidential candidates following their party conventions. Parties would notify the Secretary of State only, who would then be required to notify county clerks. Under current law, the parties notify the county clerks.
