To prohibit auto insurance companies from owning auto repair shops, except that they can keep ones they already own. The bill also prohibits an auto insurance provider from requiring an insured customer to use a particular shop for repairs covered by the policy, and regulates “favored facility agreements” between insurers and repair shops.
