Job skills training expense tax breaks

To authorize a refundable income tax credit equal to 25 percent of the job skills training expenses paid by an individual in a tax year, up to a maximum of $250, or $500 for a joint return. To qualify for the credit, the training course must be certified under the program proposed by House Bill 6082.
