To require licensure and regulation of dieticians, and impose $75 annual license fees. The bill would create a Michigan Board of Dietetics and Nutrition to establish licensure and competence assessment requirements for licensees. License applicants would be required to pass a test, have a bachelors degree in human nutrition, nutrition education, foods and nutrition, dietetics, food systems management, or equivalent course of study, and have 900 hours of experience supervised by a licensed dietitian.
