Points for seat belt violation

Introduced

To assign two points to the drivers license record of those who violate vehicle seat belt and child safety restraint laws. Note: 2003 Senate Bill 509, which is now Public Act 165 of 2003, levies annual surcharges of $100 to $300 on anyone who accumulates more than six points on their license within a two-year period.
