To use any unspent appropriations left over at the end of the 2005 fiscal year (Sept. 30, 2005) to operate State Police posts in Groveland Township, Iron River, and Grand Haven, which would be closed under <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-SB-280">Public Act 159 of 2005</a>. The bill also provides extra money for state fire investigations; security for the 2005 Baseball All Star Game and the 2006 Super Bowl; and to pay local governments for fire protection services provided to state buildings. The bill authorizes $8.85 million in total spending.
