To revise the definition of "historic vehicle" to include vehicles over 25 years old owned solely as a collector's item and which receive “occasional use.” Under current law, the definition extends to vehicles which are used for club activities, exhibitions, tours, parades, and similar uses, including mechanical testing, and are not used for general transportation. The designation entitles the owner to a flat $30 annual registration fee and exemptions from certain vehicle regulations.
