2005 House Bill 4374

Rescind governor's credit scoring insurance ban

Introduced in the House

Feb. 22, 2005

Introduced by Rep. Jim Marleau (R-46)

To rescind proposed administrative rules that would prohibit the use of "credit scoring" by insurance companies to determine rates for personal insurance lines, including automobile and homeowners insurance. Introduction of the bill was triggered by a vote of the legislature's Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) disapproving the proposed rules.
