To prohibit the owner of a mobile home park from adopting a policy in his or her park that restricts activities by tenants related to starting a manufactured home owners association, such as distributing flyers or going door-to-door. Also, to prohibit a park owner from adopting a policy in his or her park that restricts the display by tenants of political or “for sale” signs, subject to reasonable size and location regulations. The bill authorizes penalties of up to six months in jail and a $10,000 fine for violations of these and related restrictions.
