To expand the types of liquor vendors permitted to hold on-premises wine tastings to include specially designated merchants (SDMs), which are currently licensed to sell beer and wine for off-premises consumption only, if customers are not charged, and subject to regulations specified in the bill. This would allow wine shops to have tastings.
