Introduced

To increase by $25 per-pupil the annual funding for school districts receiving a foundation allowance of less than $7,200 annually in the 2005-2006 school year. (The actual increase for the year is $18, since the grants would be pro-rated and begin Jan.1, 2006). The current minimum grant is $6,875. The bill is linked with House Bill 5436, which appropriates money left over in the School Aid Fund at the end of Fiscal Year 2004-2005.
