Nursing home tax credit

To provide a refundable income tax credit of up to $1000 for up to 25 percent of the unreimbursed nursing home cost incurred by a taxpayer or relative if the nursing home stay is recommended by a doctor or a licensed health care provider employed by the nursing home.
