To extend the expiration of a concealed pistol license (CPL) for those who apply for a renewal at least 60 days before the expiration date, if the CPL board has not renewed the license before that date. The person would have to request the extension, which would remain in effect until the renewal application is approved or denied. The renewal application receipt would become a part of the license in the meantime.
