Expand uses of Public Officers Benefit Fund

To allow compensation for injured peace officers to be paid from the “Public Officers Benefit Fund,” instead of or in addition to the state general fund. The Public Officers Benefit Fund was created to provide benefits to surviving spouses or dependents of peace officers killed or totally disabled on the job.
