This appropriates $13.119 billion in gross spending (funded from all sources, including special state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, and more), compared to $12.757 billion, which was the FY 2005-2006 amount enrolled in 2005. The budget includes funds to include the per-pupil foundation allowance by $175 (plus another $25 increase proposed for the current school year).
