To establish ethics regulations on legislators. They would be prohibited from accepting anything of value for performance of their responsibilities (except their pay), from using tax dollars to send mass mailings in the 50 days before a primary or general election, from accepting campaign contributions inside state offices, from requiring or requesting staffers from doing political work on state time, from disclosing confidential information for private gain, from lobbying for one year after leaving office, from hiring a family member as a staffer, from violating various conflict of interest requirements, and more.
