To create a state commission comprised of individuals representing various interests to study the problem of deer/car collisions, especially those Sept. 15 and Dec. 15; identify areas where high number of deer/car collisions occur; identify and identify funding sources for the various ways to reduce the number or severity of these collisions, including fencing, tunnels or overpasses, relocating deer, reducing speed limits in certain areas, repellents, roadside vegetation management, roadside reflectors and mirrors, roadway lighting, in-vehicle countermeasures, deer whistles, public information and education programs, and hunting.
