Prohibit insurers “steering” to health care facilities

To prohibit an auto insurance company from unreasonably restricting an insured from using a particular health care provider or facility for services covered by the policy (“steering”). Also, to require insurers to disclose when a claim is filed whether the insurer has an agreement with any health care provider or facility, and inform an insured person that he or she is under no obligation to use those providers or facilities..
