To index for inflation the wage level under which it is unlawful to pay to pay the wait staff in a restaurant or other employees who receive gratuities (tips) in the course of their employment, notwithstanding any voluntary agreement between the employer and employee. Under current law this minimum wage is $2.65 per hour.
