Mandate school physical and health education hours

To mandate that public schools provide at least 30 minutes of physical education daily and 150 minutes of health education each week to children in grades K-5; and 45 minutes of physical education daily and 225 minutes of health education weekly in grades 6-8. Schools would be required to maintain the same teacher to student ratio for these activities as for regular classes. The mandate would be phased in in several stages and fully take effect in the 2015-2016 school year.
