Take away corrupt public employee’s pension and health benefits

To require a government pension system to take away the pension benefits of a former employee convicted of a felony arising out of his or her government employment, and also take away his or her post-retirement health benefits (but not those for which any dependent is eligible). Under current law a government pension system may but is not required to take away a corrupt employee’s pension, and does not have authority to take away the health benefits.
