Extend Metropark provision property tax shift law

To extend until Sept. 30, 2007 a provision that expires on June 30, 2007, which requires that a portion of the reserve accounts created by <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2004-SB-1111">Public Act 356 of 2004</a> must be paid to county-wide authorities, such as the Huron Clinton Metroparks. PA 356 of 2004 was the legislation that advanced county property tax bills from December to July, and the reserve accounts that counties created from getting the money sooner were intended as a substitute for reduced revenue sharing payments.
