To exempt non-food products from mandatory item pricing if detailed pricing mandate information is conspicuously displayed with the product, if UPC scanners are available for customer use in the store, and if the store’s automated checkout system meets certain accuracy standards. The bill does not apply to food or nonprescription drugs, except for frozen foods and refrigerated dairy products.
