To allow local governments to impose regulations on “babysitting facilities,” requiring them to have nursery or playroom viewing windows of a size specified in the bill, and a restroom within 15 feet of the nursery or playroom. “Babysitting facilities” are defined as a school, church, fraternal organization, or other facility open to the public that provides full- or part-time babysitting or child care services and is not otherwise subject to state licensure.
