Mandate “circulating nurse” in operating rooms

To mandate that health care providers have a “circulating nurse” in the operating room when surgery is underway. The bill defines “circulating nurse” as a “registered professional nurse who is responsible for coordinating all nursing care, patient safety needs, and the needs of the surgical team in the operating room during an invasive or operative procedure”.
