To repeal <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2007-HB-4800">the 2007 law</a> which requires that if a retired state government employee goes back to work for the state indirectly as the employee of a third party under contract to the state, he or she can’t collect his or her pension while also getting paid to do state work. This was one of the modest reforms accepted by the Granholm administration as part of a <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2007-HB-5194">$1.4 billion tax increase</a> in 2007.
