To mandate the terms and prices utilities must pay to renewable energy providers for the non-conventional power purchased under the quotas imposed by <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2007-SB-55">Public Act 295 of 2008</a> and related laws. The mandated prices would range from 6.5 cents per kilowatt hour to as much as 25 cents, depending on the type and size of the renewable generator.
