Establish welfare repayment procedures

To allow an individual who has collected welfare for the 48 month maximum period to collect another two years worth of welfare if the person has paid back previous cash welfare benefits with cash, or by performing community service at non-profit organizations for a number of hours to be determined by the Department of Human Services. The bill would also withhold cash assistance if the recipient’s children are skipping school, and require any of a recipients children under age five to go to government early child education programs.
