Increase “working poor” Medicaid subsidies for households up to $75,000

To revise the sliding-scale Medicaid fees that individuals who are between 135 percent of the poverty rate and up to $75,000 income for a household of one may pay a fee to obtain this government health care coverage. The new fees would be 3 percent of the income above 135 percent of the poverty rate and below $75,000 for a household of one (above which eligibility ends). See also House Bill 4707.
