To require the state to post a website by Oct, 1, 2009 that contains “year-to-date expenditures by department and category; the number of state employees by department and job classification; a listing of state contracts; the executive budget; the annual comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR); the constitutional revenue limit report; the constitutional local spending requirements report; an annual work projects reports; detailed financial schedules, and monthly financial reports; the annual workforce report; state job specifications and wage rates.” Most if not all of this information is already published in various places. The bill would not require an online state “check register”.
