To revise the definition of “gift certificate in the <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2007-HB-4860">2007 law</a> that prohibited retailers from selling merchandise gift cards or certificates with an expiration shorter than five years. The bill would include cards useable at multiple retailers in a mall or shopping center in the ban.
