Give road tax money to “metropolitan planning organizations” for transit

To include in the eligible recipients of state transit money distributed to local governments and authorities “metropolitan planning organizations,” whose mission is to develop and carry out a transit regionalization work programs to enhance regional coordination. The bill specifies components of such a plan, and requires state approval and regular review for an entity to get the money.
