To revise language in the employee pension provisions of the <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2001-SB-690">law</a> that transferred Detroit Municipal Airport to an independent authority following a series of mismanagement scandals, so as to conform with the words and terms used in other pension system statutes. Specifically, the bill changes the phrase “pension participant” to “pension member”.
