To only allow legislators to collect reimbursement for documented travel and lodging expenses related to attending sessions in Lansing. Note: Although it is not mandated by statute, the legislature currently gives members a $12,000 annual expense allowance, in addition to their $79,650 salary, health insurance and post-retirement health care benefits. No documentation is required to collect the $12,000.
