To revise the provision in the “<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-HB-5047">21st Century Jobs Fund</a>” business subsidy program which states that future legislatures will appropriate $75 million through 2015, by extending this through 2016, with a smaller amount in 2017. Note: Despite the language of this statute, a current or past legislature cannot bind a future legislature into passing (or not passing) certain bills or appropriations. In other words, at any time the legislature can choose to stop paying $75 million annually for these subsidies.
