To ban charter county pension recipient “double dipping,” in which a “retired” county employee collects both a monthly pension benefit and also collects a regular paycheck as a direct employee of the county, or indirectly as an independent contractor or employee of a contractor of the county. This would not apply to charter counties with fewer than 35,000 residents.
