To eliminate the subsidies and business tax breaks that have been granted to the Michigan International Speedway and the Palace sports stadium in Auburn Hills, and a $500,000 annual auto show tax break for the Michigan Auto Dealers Association. The bill is part of a package that repeals a number of targeted tax breaks and subsidies (House Bills 6108 to 6119, and HB 5249), using the revenue that is now forgone because of these to cut the Michigan Business Tax rate for all firms (House Bills 6103 to 6107).
