2010 House Bill 6356

Let law enforcement be funded with drug forfeiture money

Introduced in the House

July 28, 2010

Introduced by Rep. Fred Durhal (D-6)

To repeal the statutory provision that prohibits the use of drug forfeiture money to replace tax or other revenues as the funding source for local or state law enforcement agencies. That law allows drug forfeiture money to be used only to supplement regular funding sources, but not replace them.
