Mandate continuing insurance for former juvenile dependents

To require a health insurance policy that covers dependent children to permit continuation of the coverage for the child until he or she reaches age 26, even if he or she is not considered a dependent. Also, to restrict a health insurance company’s ability to cancel coverage (“rescission”) because of inadequate information given by the insured on the initial application.
