Establish more rigid law enforcement sexual assault responsibilities

To require the law enforcement agency with the primary responsibility for investigating a sexual assault case to collect and analyze all evidence in a timely manner; upon the victim’s request, inform the victim of the status of the processing of all evidence collected; and require agencies to file annual reports with the Attorney General and local prosecutor with the total number of sexual assault evidence kits in their possession that they have not tested or analyzed.
