To overhaul the management of a "qualified forest management program" that gives property tax breaks to owners of comparatively smaller forestland parcels if managed according to state guidelines. Among other things, the bill would allow owners to maintain a "camp" or other other modest structure on the land. See also House Bill 4302, which revises a similar commercial forestland program for much larger parcels.
