2011 Senate Bill 420

Restrict “morning after” pill

Introduced in the Senate

June 8, 2011

Introduced by Sen. Tom Casperson (R-38)

To prohibit sale of the “morning after” pill in the same manner as other prescription or non-prescription drugs. Instead, the drug could only be administered by a physician subject to similar disclosure and informed consent regulations as apply to regular abortions, and only after an actual physical exam, not a video exam or internet interview.
