To create a state “commercial corridor fund” funded by some of the revenues from increased fuel and vehicle registration taxes proposed by House Bills 5298 and 5300 (or Senate Bills 918 and 919). In general, more of the money would go to more heavily travelled roads than under current funding formulas. This is part of Gov. Rick Snyder’s road and transit tax proposal.
