To establish that having recent and relevant military experience in the field meets the criteria for obtaining a plumbers license. Current law prohibits a person from earning a living as “journeyman plumber” unless he or she has least “6,000 hours of experience obtained over at least three years” as an apprentice, plus passing a licensure test and paying fees.
