To allow property owners (presumably including landlords) to prohibit smoking medical marijuana on their property. This would also prohibit an individual from smoking it on any portion of his or her own private property that is “open to the public.” The bill would amend <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2008-il-1">Initiated Law 1 of 2008 </a>, the state’s medical marijuana law, which because it was adopted through a vote of the people would require a three-fourths vote in both the House and Senate to revise.
