To expand to “camping activities” a law <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2011-SB-4231">passed in 2011</a> giving the parent or guardian of a minor who participates in a sports or a recreational activity the right release the organizer, sponsor or property owner in advance from liability for injuries sustained by the minor. The bill would also slightly expand the scope of these liability waivers.
