To replace a ban on carrying specific types of blades with harmful intent with a ban on doing this with any “bladed object designed, manufactured, or intended to be used to cause death or injury to any person.” The bill (and current law) does not ban owning these items, and creates exceptions and rules for transporting them where there is no unlawful intent to hurt someone.
