Introduced
by
To revise a 2016 law that appears to authorize rules that would permit remote “telehealth” providers to write prescriptions with various exceptions, and subject to restrictions imposed by other laws. The bill would expand this to include controlled substances, subject to additional conditions and limits. Reportedly the change is in part to accommodate the needs of community mental health and substance abuse disorder clinics.
