To no longer impose driver responsibility fees for driving on a suspended or revoked license, or for not having the required no fault insurance coverage. The bill would let an individual already subject to these penalties work them off by doing 10 hours of community service or workforce training. These very expensive “bad driver tax” penalties for certain offenses were imposed as a revenue-raising measure by a previous legislature.
