To eliminate a so-called “hard cap” alternative in a law that requires school employees to pay at least 20 percent of the cost of health insurance. The “hard cap” instead caps the cost of policies that can be given for single, married or family insurance coverage. This is part of a Democratic teacher incentives package comprised of House Bills 5465 to 5484.
